A Modern Facility with 22 Badminton Courts

The NZ Badminton Centre (NZBC) is a purpose-built facility dedicated to badminton. It offers opportunities for players of all levels—from beginners to professionals—to develop their skills while providing families and communities with a space to embrace badminton as a lifestyle, a source of entertainment, and a way to maintain health and fitness.

  • Equipped with all necessary training equipment to improve badminton-specific fitness.

  • Timber base flooring with international-level rubber mats
  • Excellent LED lighting
  • Roof height ranging from 7–11.5 metres depending on the arena

  • Centrally located with easy access from major motorways
  • Covered parking, open car parks, and plenty of off-street parking available

  • 3 sets of showers and changing rooms
  • Club room, board room, meeting room, and function room
  • On-site pro-shop, specializing in Yonex and Li-Ning products (official authorized dealer for both top global brands)

  • Smoke-free and alcohol-free facility (including car parks)
  • Numerous security cameras and a fully fenced perimeter for maximum player safety

Equipment Requirements

• Badminton Shoes

  • Only badminton-specific shoes are permitted on courts.
  • Shoes are available at the centre from $59 to $300.

• Racquets

  • Range available from $29 to $400.

Booking Policies

Refunds or Moving a Booking

Court booking changes and cancellations are fully self-service.
NZBC staff will not get involved in any cancellations regardless of any personal situations.
Any technical or system related issues for refund vouchers will be handled by Pay2Play via NZBC during office hours.

Refund Voucher & Booking Movement Rules

1. Bookings cannot be refunded or moved within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.

2. Eligible cancellations will result in a voucher of equal value to the original booking.

3. Peak and Non-Peak Rules:

• Non-peak bookings may only be moved to non-peak slots. If moved to peak, the price difference must be paid.
• Peak bookings may only be moved to peak slots. If moved to non-peak, no refund of the difference will be provided.

1. Each booking can only be refunded or moved once using a voucher.

2. We recommend recording your voucher number and only redeeming it when you are certain of your next available playing time.
